		Village views.... Your views They matter to us all THE HEAPEY AND WHEELTON PARISH PLAN The Heapey and Wheelton Parish Plan was published on the 11th of February 2006. The parish plan documents can be viewed in PDF as a text only document and resulting action plan. An overview slide show(2MB) and full brochure(9MB) are also now available. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So what is the Heapey and Wheelton Parish Plan all about? The parish plan is your chance to make a real differences to the area where you live. It is currently being put together and YOUR VIEWS about what is happening and what is going to happen in your community, are vital. So ask yourself, how do you want Heapey and Wheelton to shape up in the future? What do you want to preserve? What would you like to see the back of? What do you want to change or develop? What do you think are positive aspects? The idea is to get as many village views as we can about how Heapey and Wheelton parishes might develop over the next 5, 10 or even 20 years! Does the parish plan affect me? YES! If you are aged between 1 and 101 and live in Heapey or Wheelton then Village Views affects you. The main issues for you and your family may be: • public transport • traffic/parking • employment • shops • village design & planning • access to health care and other community services • affordable housing • leisure & sports facilities • environment • community safety These are just a few ideas to get you thinking. There might be many more which are relevant to you. We need lots of help! Can you organise and attend meetings with community groups? sort the information gathered from household surveys? print, or do you know someone who can print, the parish plan document? sponsor the cost of producing the plan, or give prizes? help make it happen by putting the plan into action?
